The Big 12 is definitely the deepest conference in the nation. I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s the most talented – that honor goes to the ACC.
TCU got its second ever Big 12 basketball win on Saturday, 62-42 in Lubbock over Texas Tech. TCU seems to have really cooled off since the end of their non-conference schedule. However, they may still be able to win a few more conference games. This week the Horned Frogs get Texas and West Virginia, both of which seem inconsistent at times.
Oklahoma State performed poorly on Saturday, there isn’t really a better way to describe it. After a decent showing against Kansas on the road last week, Saturday was indicative of what may happen when Forte and Nash are seemingly absent. This week gets a little easier for the Pokes who get Texas Tech at home and travel to Kansas State.
Kansas split games with Oklahoma State and Iowa State respectively this week, and now face Oklahoma and Texas.
